Greetings,
On behalf of the Phenomenal Ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Phi Alpha Zeta Chapter, I would like to personally welcome you to our website. I am honored to serve as President and work with a wonderful group of women who have continuously shown their commitment and dedication to enhancing the quality of life of the residents of Southern Maryland. Phi Alpha Zeta is the Premier Chapter in Southern Maryland.
Founded on the campus of Howard University in 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has long demonstrated an interest in serving the needs of the community. One of the primary objectives of Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Z-HOPE) though Mind, Body & Spirit is to foster collaborative partnerships between community organizations with shared goals. Phi Alpha Zeta is small in number, but big in heart. Since the chapter's inception in March of 2007, the Ladies of Phi Alpha Zeta continue to partner with several of the key non-profit organizations in Charles county and had begun to make our presence known within the community.
As the current president of Phi Alpha Zeta, I have established the following goals, known as the 3E's:
- Increased Exposure of Phi Alpha Zeta throughout Charles County and Southern Maryland, by increasing the number of signature programs, and partnering with other key non-profit organizations within the area.
- To Excel the chapter by achieving recognition beyond the local level.
- To Expand chapter membership by retaining current members, as well as identifying new members who embrace the founding the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. which are Scholarship, Sisterly Love, Service and Finer Womanhood.
Again, I would like to personally welcome you to our site. On the behalf of myself, and the other chapter Sorors, we would like to invite all Sorors, those interested in joining the sorority, and those simply wanting to give back to the community to come out and work along side the Ladies of Phi Alpha Zeta, as we continue to make our impact on Southern Maryland.
